2009-10 Men's Freshmen Golf Class Is Ranked 12th In Nation By Golfstat (11-12-09)
Rankings Are Based On Stroke Average And Impact Of First Year Players On Their Team

ROCK HILL, SC--The 2009-10 freshman class of  the Winthrop men's golf team has been ranked 12th in nation by Golfstat in the Freshmen Impact Rankings.

 

The rankings take into account the stroke average and impact the first year players have on there respective program.  Currently, freshmen Brad Sill and John Conners lead the Eagles in stroke average after the fall season at 73.55 and 73.50 respectively.  Also contributing is Kamito Hirai, who along with Sill, are the only Eagles to have played in all 4 fall events.  Hirai is averaging 75.9 after the fall season.
