OFFICIAL INTERVIEW POLICY:

            All interviews with Winthrop University Athletic administration, coaching staff, and/or Winthrop student-athletes must be arranged via the Media Relations/Sports Information Office. Please contact the Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations Jack Frost or the Assistant Director of Media Relations Brett Redden. All interviews with student-athletes will be arranged around their academic class schedules and/or practice times.

 CREDIENTIALS REQUEST(MEN’S AND WOMEN’S BASKETBALL ONLY):

            All request for media credentials and photography passes must be arranged via the Media Relations Office as early as possible by contacting the Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations Jack Frost or the Assistant Director for Media Relations Brett Redden. All credentials will be available for pickup at the Winthrop University Coliseum at the loading dock entrance. Only legitimate requests will be granted. All photographers must shoot from the baselines and positions are at the judgment of the game officials and/or Media Relations Office.

GAME DAY SERVICES (MEN’S AND WOMEN’S BASKETBALL ONLY)

            Parking: Media parking spaces will be available upon request on a limited basis, The media parking spasces are located at the coliseum. Please be sure to make your parking request when making your credentials and/or photography request.

            Media Service: Winthrop University via the Media Relations Office uses computerized statistics. All working media will receive an official game programs and notes, halftime box scores, and a final game box score.

Post-Game Interviews: Head coaches Randy Peele and Bud Childers will be available approximately 10-minutes after each home game in the media room located next to the media relations offices in the coliseum. All interviews with requested student-athletes will take place in the media room approximately 20-25 minutes after each home game.

Media Room: A media work room is located in the coliseum next to the media relations offices. Reporters may also work from press row after the game.

               Telephones: A limited number of telephones are available in the media work room

            Faxing: Winthrop University Media Relations Office will provide faxing of the final game box score to media outlets of opposing teams. Please contact Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations Jack Frost or Assistant Director for Media Relations Brett Redden with any special request.

            Visiting Radio: Stations wishing to broadcast games from Winthrop Coliseum must make arrangements via the Media Relations Office by contacting Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations Jack Frost or Assistant Director for Media Relations Brett Redden.

            Publicity Photos/Logos: Media members may request and obtain individual head-shot photographs of Winthrop University Athletic Administration, coaching staff, and/or student-athletes. Winthrop University Athletic Logo: and the institution’s logo via electronic files. To do so, please contact the Assistant Athletic Director for Media Relations Jack Frost.
