ROCK HILL, SC--Winthrop senior cross country and track distance performer Lisa Sickman (Clarkston, MI) is highlighted this month in a new Big South Conference student-athlete feature called the "Musco Women's Spotlight" in conjunction with the league's newest collegiate partner Musco Sports Lighting,
Sickman finished seventh at the season opening WCU Invitational with a time of 12:17.51 in the two-mile race. When not competing for the Lady Eagles, she is working towards a psychology degree and is active in several organizations on campus, including Pi Gamma Mu, Alpha Delta Pi, SAAC and Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society - all which she believes will better prepare her for life after Winthrop. In this month's spotlight, Sickman opens up about her cooking skills, her desired talent, her hometown Detroit Tigers, her personal goals, and her love of running.
