ROCK HILL, SC – The Winthrop athletic department has released its promotional dates for the 2011 home baseball season, which begins this weekend with the Johnny Gill Memorial.

The following special promotions are listed below:

Winthrop T-Shirt Giveaway (March 5)

The first 150 fans receive a 2011 Winthrop Baseball t-shirt

Military Appreciation Night (March 15)

All current military personnel or retired military personnel receive free admission. In addition, family member tickets are only $2 each.

Salute to Public Servants Day (April 9)

Free admission to all police, fire, EMT and first responder personnel. In addition, family member tickets are only $2 each.

Teacher Appreciation Day (April 23)

$1 admission for all York County, Rock Hill, Fort Mill and Clover school teachers.

Businessman's Specials

Half Price Admission for all those who plan to take off work early to watch the Eagles on the following dates:

Future All-American Friday's

All kids who wear their team jersey receive $1 admission

Church Bulletin/Ice Cream Sunday's

Present your church bulletin at the ticket window and buy one ticket get one free. Also, the first 100 fans in attendance will receive a free ice cream cone coupon compliments of McDonald's and Winthrop Baseball.

Fatz Café Baseball Bingo

Baseball Bingo will take place at every Winthrop home game. The first person to get Bingo and report to the press box will win a $20 gift card courtesy of Fatz Café. Limit two winners per game.
