Eagle senior
Sergey Belov was voted the Player of the Year as he finished the season undefeated in Conference singles play. Joining Belov in the list of honors was
Guy Kubi who received the Scholar Athlete of the Year Award. Kubi finished the season with a17-12 overall record in singles, while playing in the No. 4 position. He is a three-time Winthrop Dean's List recipient and was a Big South Conference Presidential Scholar in 2010. He currently holds a 3.95 GPA and is majoring in Business Administration. Kubi also made the Big South All-Academic Team.
In the flight winner category, Belov took No. 1 singles. Joining him were sophomore
Liran Levy in the No. 3 position and freshman
Yuta Hirokawa at the No. 6 spot.

Dejon Bivens were named to the All-Conference Singles Team, as Belov and Levy were named to the All-Conference Doubles Team.
With the award ceremony coming to a close, the 2011 Big South Men's Tennis Championships have begun. The action starts Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Memorial Courts in Rock Hill.
