Baseball Tryout Information Form
ROCK HILL, SC--Winthrop baseball coach Tom Riginos has announced that the date and time for tryouts for the 2014 team have been moved to Tuesday, Sept. 17, at 4:30 p.m. at The Winthrop Ballpark.
Before attending tryouts all walk-on candidates must complete a physical at the Crawford Health Center on campus and receive a form that will allow them to participate in tryouts. Also, all candidates must fill out the athletic training form that is available by clicking here or the link above.
Riginos says that tryout candidates need to report to the first base dugout, wear baseball pants and bring a glove, cleats and a bat. For those who are trying out for catcher, they need to bring their own gear.
