PONTE VEDRA BEACH, FL—Sawyer Mills jumped nine spots in the final round to place in the Top 50 of the Sea Best Invitational as the Winthrop golf team completed its first tournament of the spring Tuesday afternoon.

• Sawyer Mills was the top finisher for the Eagles, placing tied for 49^th
• Mills shot a 1-over 71 in the final round, jumping up nine positions from where he sat after 36 holes
• He had three more birdies on Tuesday to bring his tournament total to 13, which were the 2^nd most by any individual in the tournament
• Noah Peterson shot the second lowest score of the final round for the Eagles with a 74
• Eric Gilpin finished the tournament -1 on Par 3 scoring, which was tied for the third lowest
• Mills finished the tournament at -2 in Par 5 scoring
