During basketball season, the Winthrop Athletic Department has a coaches luncheon during basketball season and during spring sports.
A men's and women's basketball coaches luncheon occurs weekly starting in November and ending in the beginning of March. During the spring the luncheon is bi-monthly and is currently occuring on Monday's at noon at Firebonz Restaurant, located on Cherry Road. All fans and members of the media are welcome to attend the luncheon.
