Winthrop University's Department of Athletics dedicates itself to the pursuit of academic excellence.  Winthrop student-athletes have a wealth of resources and programs available to them as they work toward earning their respective degree.  Winthrop University's Student-Athlete Services, in conjunction with numerous campus resources, serves to enhance the educational experience of the student-athlete.  Student-Athlete Services, comprised of Athletic Academic Services and CHAMPS/Life Skills, and located in the Rock Hill Coca-Cola Academic Resource Center, offers an assortment of services including: academic advising and mentoring; study hall and tutoring programs; and career planning and life skills development.
